Masters degree & Professional certification
I graduated with my Masters in Art Education from CCNY in Harlem, NYC. I passed the Visual Arts, Educating All Students, and EdTPA National Visual Arts tests in 2019 and was granted my NY State Visual Arts Initial Teaching Certificate. I also acquired my Commercial Arts Trade Initial Certificate, with qualifications from my 15 years working in art direction, production, illustration and graphic design in the publishing industry in NYC. Last September 2024, I acquired my Professional Teaching Certificate.
I also completed the training for the ‘Choose Love’ program implemented in the Goshen School District, as well as completing a mural that showcases this philosophy in the lobby of Scotchtown Elementary.
